Spc. Adam Otten, an infantryman with D Company, 1st Battalion, 168th Infantry Regiment, offers candy to an Iraqi child during a presence patrol through the Al Furat section of Baghdad. Soldiers from the unit often bring candy, small toys, notebooks and pens on patrol with them to hand out to many of the children they encounter.
