Jon Soucy (B.1976) is from Baltimore, Md., but has driven through and visited 48 of the 50 states as well as several foreign countries. He has covered daily assignments for a variety of publications including Delmarva Newspapers, Gannett News Service, The York (Pa.) Dispatch/ York Sunday News, Community Times, as well as others. He has also served in the U.S. Army as a photojournalist and has covered military operations in a variety of locations.
His work has appeared in numerous regional and national publications and freelance clients have included Patuxent Publishing Company, Initiative Independent Media, the Associated Press, the Charm City Art Space, Nobo Movieworks as well as numerous other publications, organizations and bands. In addition, he has also photographed quite a few weddings in his day.
He has played in several bands, has a knack for remembering the most obscure details about a vast array of subjects and is available for freelance assignments, long term projects and can easily be talked into driving across the country in vehicles of questionable mechanical aptitude.
But also, he’d like to hear from you. Don’t be shy, say hello.
(And he rarely refers to himself in the third person.)
